Negotiations for Dean Ashton as you say went on for some time.
In addition our manager has said "we are working round the clock to bring in new cases"
My question why are we still "enquiring" about players i.e Halford. We know the deadline is coming and we should know exactly what fee is required for any player we could possibly be interested in if as has been said "we are working round the clock". Surely replacements should have been almost signed, sealed, delivered before we even contemplated letting Dean go.
Look forward to your response.

Work in bringing new players to the Club continues round the clock - not just during the transfer window.
Of course, we only knew for certain a deal would be done for Dean on Saturday evening, and even then he still had a medical to pass, so to finalise a deal with another player BEFORE we had any money would not be possible. No selling club would agree to that.
But, work is ongoing, as it has been all along.

In other words nothing has been done. Why cant we get bids accepted and raise spirits a bit
