Yes and no

Agree that he clearly wanted to go and you can't hang on to a player in that sit-you-ation.

However I think he's worth every penny Pardew paid - he's an English striker in the classical mould and with quality ball to feet would have been awesome for us. He never really had the service he needs here.

We wasted his talent and that upsets me. Really quite a bit.

But I think the decision to sell was correct and good business for us. Let's hope he can get some quality in - good winger on the right wouldn't be a bad start would it...
