totally miserable git

Just watched the West ham unveiling interview, Ashton looked like he was about the be sent to the gallows rather than pocket ?3/4m and premier wages. Why so glum? Surely he should have a grin like a cheshire cat?

Or did he really think that a real big club would sign him and so WestHam are simply the only option available?
