ashton - August

would we have saved money had we just let Ashton leave in August - we have paid him 4 nearly 5 months worth of wages plus we now have paid him ? 750 k just becasue he didn't ask to leave - bollocks did he - he couldn;t get out quick enough

Had he left in august we would have been able to replace him then and not have 10 days of panic trying to scrap around to replace him

Whilst I think Ashton is a decent striker ( probbaly our best since Sutton ) i am left with a sour taste that he can leave after only 1 year here , that he can make it clear that he did not want to stay ( despite teh club saying he was not for sale ) and for then taking ? 750K from a club that he says he likes and from fans he respects as well

The lad has gone down in my estimations
