Spending the Ashton money

NCFCs accounting year ends on 31/05/2006. Last year on a pre-tax profit of ?9.166M the club paid ?1.5M in tax. Depending on when all of the Ashton money is received and what the overall operating profit position is this FY the club will presumably want to spend some of the cash in the next 8 days to avoid paying tax on it.
