You've got to speculate to accumulate, f**king make a bid and get the players in before someone else steps in and nicks them.

Halford is a quality version of Hughes, McSheffrey is a nippy player with that bit of flair that we miss on the right.

I sometimes wonder if we enquire about players just so the management can fool the fans into thinking that we might actually spend some money on a decent player or two...
