We get told we have no money to spend, then next day worthy says he wants jerome. as we have been in negotiations for a few weeks with west ham over ashton, he was really revealing ashtons replacement. and worthy has said he's been on the phone asking about strikers for the last 6 weeks. so he knew ashton would go.

and someone said that adams said yesterday we're going to buy him.
