Thank christ it's over

Looks like it was a case of Ashton wanting to go and to be honest I can't blame him.

Having seen West Ham this season I would say he'll do the business there, with the likes of Defoe not really playing they'd be a great chance for him to make the World Cup. I don't think it's a fantastic deal for us when you take into account what we have to give Crewe and the extra expense of the contract in the summer but what can you do.
