...well, I'd like to say that would be the absolute final insult. FFS, Gray, he's everything that Worthington sees in a player-big, awkward, puts himself about, lots of effort-yes, all of that for little return and no skill or footballing ability. You can see the instructions now, "...get it up to the big man, Peter, you feed off the knock downs...", JFC, its enough to make your eyes bleed.
Time after time he goes steaming in after other peoples rejects, failures, and not being offered another contracts, loan them, buy them, we get them because no other f**ker wants them, including their own club.
Gray in through the door eh, expect 'kin Scimeca and Linvoy bloody Primus to follow.
We should be looking to get in young and ambitious players (Halford, Eastwood, surely they and others fall into that category?) who will want to prove themselves, make it at a higher level, and, in doing so, be a good investment for the club. As regards the latter, what sort of investment potential is there in Huges, in Etuhu, in Robinson, none what-so-ever; Ashton was a glimmer of hope in our transfer policy and it has paid off, have they learnt a lesson from that, no, lets forget that and look to get some more useless lumps in instead who will see out their careers here.
Lisbie, Gray, Scimeca, Johansson, Primus, bet we have at least one, if not two, from that list, by the end of the month.
