Well for me the defeat today spells the end of our play off hopes...

i said that if we didn't beat Watford today then that would be it.

I know some people are still staying we can make the play off's,but to be honest your having a laugh.

Take a look at our fixtures. Nearly always a team needs at least 75 points to reach the play off's. I predicted that after the Preston game that we would only lose one of our next 7 games and that was against Reading. We have now lost today.

Sure, we could still mathematically make the play off's but to do so we would need to go on an excellent run between now and the end of the season and would need to beat most probably Palace and Preston away whilst at the same time hoping that one of them goes on a bad run. Bearing in mind that if Preston win their game in hand they will be 11 points ahead of us and Palace if they win their 2 games in hand 15 points ahead of us we really haven't a hope.

Such a shame that our season is over now. As far as i am concerned the sooner this season ends the better.

The atmosphere at the ground today was so subdued. The fans are pissed off with what has happened to our club since relegation and that is shown in the lack of atmosphere.

The club needs a lift and we need to start preparing for next season in what will be a crucial year for the long term future of NCFC. The play off;s payment's run out after next season and if we don't go up then we are marooned in the Championship for years.

The board need to put aside their personaly for NW and co and do the right thing and despense of their services. Get on the blower to Mike Newell and give him a crack at getting us up next season. At the very least we will see decent football played at CR.
