The unbelievable naiveity and complacency underlines what a ludicrous predicament we are now in. Injuries aside, the signings that were made in the summer and January are nothing short of pathetic and embarrassing. To think we have sunk to mid-table mediocrity so quickly is an insult to the supporters of Norwich City. All we ever seem to hear is the same old utter nonsense and garbage that no players are available. Of course there are players available! Especially in the lower leagues where there are youngsters with potential. We don't need journeymen signings like Robinson, Hughes and Thorne. Etuhu is a complete waste of money (three and a half years on the basis of what Worthington? He's dire), Louis-Jean who is a cripple, Jurgen Colin - another inspirational dutch signing that ranks alongside De Waard, Derveld etc). To think that McVeigh was surplus to requirements until only recently also shows the demise of Mr Worthington's reign. He was a good manager until we got promoted and then he lost the plot. Fact!
We are now a mid-table mediocre outfit and we have undone all the productive work from a couple of seasons ago.
What a shame as we have the foundations in place to be a Premiership team.
The season ticket sales will surely reduce and the crowds gradually subside.
At least we don't have Rupert Lowe running the club, so be grateful for a little mercy!!!!!!!
