The worst case scenario would be...
Ashton going right on the eve of the transfer window closing. Thus not giving Worthy any time to get a replacement in. We finish the season well short of the play off's and just stutter to a mid table finish.
The board though decide to give NW the benefit of the doubt and give him the transfer kitty from Ashton's sale with which to buy some new players and have a crack at next season.
