We lost our shar pei 5 weeks ago broke our hearts. She had survived some scumbag

Hit and run left her for dead in 07 and she developed fits and vet said she would not last 6 months she did lasted 8 years but diagnosed with liver cancer a week before. She stopped eating and it came to a point we were keeping her for us not her. We prayed she would go in her sleep but she hung on so we had to call the vet longest hour of our lives till they came.5 weeks on still miss her soo bad but it does get easier mate albeit very slowly. I feel your pain mate. Cleo was 12 an half TIs a bloody long time to have a friend.
