I don't think Martin scoring is any answer to the criticisms of his defending

As much as it's fun to score cheap points on people.

Today was the best and worst of Russ. Defensively suspect, cost us a goal and was lucky to not cost us another. I prefer him to Whitts as a Prem level right back, though Whitts under Neil looks a different player so that could change. If we had sorted another CB we'd have 2 good RB options and a very good centre back pairing. At the moment we seem to be getting along just fine with what we've got though, so fair enough.

Not meaning to be overly negative, fantastic result today. Just think the criticism Martin gets is warranted, even if he's a goal machine.
