I have to trust SAN knows what he's doing. I've seen this team play brill without Wes. I'm guessing the Liverpool team won't have been expecting Dorrans so that might surprise them. It could be Liverpool are going for the diamond and their full backs will struggle against Redders and Jarvis so Dorrans is needed in midfield instead of Wes.

Oh I don't know! Perhaps he's just planning on coming on and scoring a hatrick from the bench.
