113 cyclists died on Britain's roads 3401 where seriously injured.
The death rate is falling but serious injuries are rising

I got that from The Torygraph so it must be true.

Anyway I agree that we all risk serious injury almost every day. Look at those people in Glasgow just out doing a bit of Christmas shopping.

It's just that I don't buy the argument about rugby players only getting ?400k a year.

Soldiers in Afghanistan on far less money took far greater risks..
