Yep, too much choice. This is what I do now

I pick about 8 a month. Whittle down to about 3

Can be quite hard, then the venue becomes the decider

I never thought the atmosphere/venue would come into play, but because of the choice it's not a major factor

Unless one of the remaining 5 are exceptional, I'll downgrade the gig on the basis of a s**te venue

It's becoming a more regular thing where I see a listing in York, and go to the gig in Leeds because of the venue
