He's made it all about him. Rather than quietly giving a lot of money to help people, or at the very least if making it about him getting others to match what he's doing e.g. donate 10% of his year's winnings, or 20% if each tournament will match his donation from that tournament kind of thing. Puts pressure on the tournaments to join in.
