There is a column in the Mirror

called Football Spy which asks readers to email in their transfer gossip. At first it started off quite seriously but now it is beyond the piss-taking stage....eg...

"My mate Dave who's brother-in-laws Uncle's grandad mows Michael Owen's lawn reckons that Owen....."

Not an exact one but you get the drift...Sounds like most of the 'rumours' on here.
