god forbid you get into plod bother in an accident or whatever, local plod might not be as forgiving as hire car companies when it comes to legal documentation and you could end up in a world of expensive legal pain. recommend you dubble check with the AA or RAC before setting off as foreign plod might not recogmnise the authority of wrathers. better safe than banged up abroad.
