Do you think our votes really matter though?

Let's say a few people/families/institutions (whatever) hold 99% of the power and the rest of us have the remaining 1% of power between us all. We all vote for something, but we have no idea how we are being manipulated or misfed info etc from the powers that be. Take the "weapons of mass destruction" for instance. It's very easy to get the majority of people on side and in support of things most would usually vote against, if those "in the know" with very influential powers have an information advantage over the rest of us.

Like I said, don't agree with it one bit. But sadly that seems to be reality. Try fighting the institution and see what happens. I for one would admire you for doing so, but I bet the rules of the game change or you are cheated out of justice. That's what power and money gives people. Those that have it will do all they can to cling onto it and do not give a s**t about us mere mortals.

Hence why supporting Norwich gives us something to enjoy instead of hoping to change "democracy" that isn't really true democracy. It's a mild form of it imo
