Arctic Monkeys are really funny though

I think they're just a gag to expose the fawning desperation of a certain group of people who take the music scene REALLY seriously. If you get the music press to say something is really cool then all these people will have to profess to love them (because the alternative would be not to be cool). Even when, like the Monkeys, the band in question cannot sing, play or write a decent song. "Dancefloor" is just a bunch of guys thrashing instruments repeatedly and tunelessly while a bloke shouts continually in a similar manner. But all the fashion victims still have to say how great it all is so that they can appear suitably "with it". I expect a C4 programme along the lines of "Space Cadets" to appear any time soon exposing the gag. Hilarious!
