SCC around today??? Brighton info required....

Got a family weekend away in Brighton coming up - my brother has booked us all in a city centre hotel... We're all taking our kids, youngest 11....

Please can you reccomend a few half decent 'foody pubs'/ restaurants to consider for a meal out on the saturday night - not too posh and child friendly but as its my sister in laws birthday some where half decent.... Oh, walking distance from the town centre would also be great rather than having to book a fleet of taxis....
