my flat is in a block of 18. Ex- council. The main problem is noise and Clampit type families who haven't done a days graft in their lives.
The social tenants constantly break the terms of their agreement with Flagship housing, who in tern do f**k all about it. The main problem is that they leave their bin bags outside their doors on the landings plus the odd big of broken furniture, washing machines and fridges.
when they finally decide to move their rubbish they chuck it in any wheelie bin, we have communal bins for recycling or general rubbish.
One of the tenants is a registered drug user, so you get lots of dodgey people banging on his door.
a few of the flats are occupied by Eastern Europeans and believe it or not, they are good tenants and work for a living.
Wish I could sell up and move on but alas With my medical history there isn't much chance of getting a new mortgage.
My advice would be to visit the area but go at random times like late on friday or saturday, even in the early hours if you can manage it.
I'm sure it's not all bad news though. it depends on the area, after all I live in Thetford.
