Shackell fitness

So Shackell was pulled out of the reserve game and sent to a specialist to see if he is ready to play. I therefore assume that he wouldn't have been right to play against Plymouth despite the fact that he was on the bench.
Worthy's comments: ?We were short on bodies for our last two games so that was why he was on the bench. He hasn't had a setback or anything like that - it's just a question of making sure he is right.?

So we were short on bodies were we? So short that we had to select a player not fit enough to play in the reserves, ahead of 3 FIT players who nigel himself was impressed with against West Ham (Jarvis, Spillane, Cave-Brown). Who said he ignores our promising youngsters?
