Darnborough seems to be taking a pasting but we don't know what his brief is

Obviously at Burnley it was 'Deliver us the moon on a stick, but your budget is zilch' so his transfer targets got nowhere.

We have no idea if he has the same constraints here or not. We've obviously got slightly deeper pockets, but if they're not deep enough...

In short: Is he just crap or have his hands been tied too much to be able to deliver?

(Those of us who have had the joy of working in professional services will have umpteen examples of clients wanting a Rolls Royce service for a Kia budget, and getting the blame when it fails to meet client expectations)
