Jon Walters was left out of the Stoke squad at the weekend amid lingering talk of a move to Norwich so will he be a Deadline Day mover? Not as it stands, according to Alan Irwin - our man at Stoke.

"Jon Walters left the training ground a few hours ago with his future still unresolved. Norwich and Leicester are interested but it does look as though he'll still be here at Stoke because they're reluctant to let him go without finding a replacement - and there's no-one on the cards at the moment.

"The ball's in Stoke's court and they're prepared to let his contract run down."
