Buying city tickets on iPads

Hi

I was thinking of buying an iPad but was wondering if anyone with an iPads had been successful in buying tickets on our club website?
I know for a fact that my smart phone will only give you limited choice as to where you sit. However, I'm hoping that with an iPad I will have the full range of access to seat allocation as laptop and PC users.

I'm grateful for anyone who can help me on this.
