Speaking of fines. Was amazed at how cheap German speeding tickets are. Got one yesterday-

64km/h (after adjustment) in a 50 zone which is quite considerable (limit went from 100 to 50 suddenly and I wasn't quite fast enough at braking). The cost ? 25 euros!
