going mental
Obviously (to my mind) I went totally apes**t at both goals, finding myself bundling into crowds of people I've never met before, and of course becoming as horizontal as I could get, whilst still just about remaining on my feet. I hugged and kissed total strangers before returning to my place alongside daughter, family and friends. Now here's the surprise, there are some amongst the aforementioned d,f&f who suggested that maybe I'd gone above and beyond what was strictly necessary? Does anyone else share this warped view of restrained celebration?
