hire a manager who has a decent start, then quickly goes rubbish, give him the following season, then sack him when we're basically relegated

give the job in a caretaker capacity to a popular celeb ex player who can't save us from the inevitable

give them the job permanently in the summer as there is nobody better out there. realise they might not be up to managing norwich when the team starts capitulating and replace them with a scottish bloke nobody thought of from a tiny club, who goes on a wonder run getting us back to the big time.

as fun as it was these last 2 occasions, can we do it differently this time please
