Re sitting down

We were in an area with lots of kids which had been initially advertised as the 'family area' (if you recall).

So when adults stand up, they can't see. I was quite happy to stand but there were children there for whom standing made no difference. They just saw the back of someone on their greatest ever day out.

After about half an hour or so, my boy and a few others went and stood a few yards away above a tunnel. They all loved it right off.

However, unless you were behind one of the goals, which is probably understood as the natural home of standing types, I fail to see why fans should think they have the right to stand in front of people who don't want to, or who actually might find it difficult for long periods.

It's quite a boorish attitude to be honest. Really not very thoughtful or considerate. A great number of people would have bought tickets in the belief that they could sit and watch the game. Are people genuinely saying that they should have no right to expect that? Wow.
