The west have made a pigs ear of Iraq true,but it's far too simplistic to suggest as you did that the mess in Afghanistan is down to the west ,even the great game involved Russia, though it's probably fair to say Islamic extremism in Afghanistan is a result of the Russian invasion and western intelligence services subsequent s**t stirring.
