but there are one or two areas for concern. The loss of Royle is a bit of a blow. Not massive, but I do think his experience and contacts would have been useful. Adams and his coaching staff seem very short on experience. Will he get the respect of players?
The biggest worry is McNally, who's rapidly gone from hard man to lame duck. The shambles of Lambert's departure; appointing Hughton; not getting rid of him till it was too late; the long delay before Adams was given the job. He now seems a liability. Not even confirmation on the website of Royle's departure. The club appears to be a bit disorganised - which is a worry. Here endeth the lesson!
