I told you Wincobank was a picture, didn't I?

Oughtibridge and Grenoside are both lovely, but apparently the TV went to adverts while the lead group and main pelican went through there. But after that, Wadsley Bridge, Southey, Longley, Shiregreen, Wincobank all very very tough, very poor areas. The final km of the race is purely commercial/industrial, so hard to make a "nice area" call about it - I can't think of a single purely industrial/commercial area in the country I'd call "nice". There's steel mills there ffs. Show me a nice area within 0.5 miles of a working steel mill.

Suffice to say that yes, Sheffield has got some fantastic lovely parts, but they didn't send the bike race through them today.
