So you get reasonably fast downstream rates, but upstream is still copper-wire.
I don't want to pens your arse off, but the nature of TCP/IP means that if upstream speed is limited, that necessarily limits downstream speed (essentially because you can't send ACK packets quick enough).
tl;dr - Don't expect statellite broadband to be too good, because of reasons.
