It sounds like a great opportunity......

As long as the expectation for paying such a higher salary can be met, and any impact on family commitments etc are minimal I'd go for it...... Who's today if you stay in the same job you'll still be happy next year? Company re-structures, new boss, new responsibilities etc...... Who's to say you won't be just as happy in the new company but on double the wage? I'd go for it......to me it's a no brainer.....
