Country is Netherlands, and Holland is two areas of NL - Zuid Holland and Noord Holland,

which is basically from Rotterdam through Delft, Den Haag and Leiden (Zuid Holland) to the Amsterdam area (Noord Holland).

Basically the majority of the urban area known as the Randstad and situated mid and north west of the country.

But even the Dutch called the football team Holland. Hup Holland is their chant. When talking about them in the press they will refer to them either as Nederland (Netherlands) or Oranje. All very confusing.

Should really be Hup Holland, Limburg, Brabant, Groningen, Drenthe,Gelderland, Friesland, Flevoland, Overijssel AND Zeeland!
