Typical lazy English bashing

The first part of the article is the most inaccurate. I don't know anyone in the past 20 years who genuinely thought England would win a major tournament. It was the English press who continuously created and then fed the maelstrom of hype and hysteria, rarely the fans. I just hoped we'd do well as I do again now.
