Britain First on Facebook

Why do people commemorate a major point in the defeat of fascism in Europe by sharing/reposting stuff from the fascist group Britain First (the odious BNP offcut who, among other things, deeply upset Lee Rigby's Mum by running election candidates as something like "Britain First - Remember Lee Rigby" when neither Lee Rigby nor his Mum remotely supported their hateful views - she was unable to stop them doing it)?

I know I shouldn't get upset by things on Facebook but this does upset me.
