Agree, I too was surprised tbh

Didn't realise that's what most managers are expected to do anyway.

This whole technical director role seems a little bit like common sense anyway, not sure why it has such an important sounding title tbh.

What makes you think that Adams won't get help signing players then though, and what's the other stuff he has no experience in (yet) that you refer to?
