No. He done an excellent job with the B team and had a broad knowledge of football.

Played at a massive club under some excellent managers, then went abroad to play in various countries at the end of his career. Met with coaches such as Marcelo Bielsa ahead of getting into coaching.

I don't think his situation was quite the same as either Adams or Gunn.

I will support Adams and hope that he is a success. Maybe there is a lot more to him that we've not seen yet. I just think that the perception from outside, and some inside, the club will be that we're not as ambitious as we should be.
