I'll dig out the chart again, if I can find it, but when you look at post-war general

election results, minus the votes cast in Scotland, actually it doesn't end up making a difference to the party with the overall majority in most elections. There's only a few years different, but as you'd expect those are years that would be Tory without the jock vote but were actually labour.
