But some of the negativity on here is over done. We, the fans, have the ability to poison this appointment and doom it to failure. I'm imagining the first home game, rows of sulky s**ts sitting there with their arms folded in stony silence, waiting for us to win 4-0 or else. Let's not do that.
Neyul is no Gunny. He's been proper in football since he retired, not running he lounge. He's achieved things in the game as a coach. We don't know that he's going to be a shuddering failure, and too many are assuming that's going to be the case. He might turn out to be very good. And if he is, then we can be more confident that he won't f**k off to the first club that flutters it's eyes at him.
If the club really do back him, so we can keep most of the better players (there are some at the club, despite the negativity) and add a few, then well be competitive next year.
I really really hope forces the pundits that slated him - and some on here - to eat their words. He's Norwich through and through and I'll give him my full support. Can't wait for next season.
