Portsmouth, Swansea, Brum and Wigan have won cups in recent years

and loads of other clubs such as Hull, Sunderland, Bradford, Cardiff, Portsmouth (again), Stoke and Millwall have reached cup finals in the past decade. That's just off the top of my head.

It's far from impossible to reach a final at least, so there's no reason to not try.
