From what I've heard from my man ITK is that Neil is a lot more savvy than most of us credit him for and the players (who wanted to be there) were genuinely impressed.

Agree it's not the kind of appointment who will get pulses racing but I don't think it will fail at all, provided he gets some good experienced men around him.

Holty may well be his mate but football is quite an incestuous pool and if someone as high profile as GH is publicly rating him, then I expect most players of our level to give him a chance.
