Of the working classes, industry was run down ( which was why labour tried to push adult education in the mid 2000s), then of course loads of eastern Europeans came steaming in, many of them over qualified , and took a fair few of the jobs that the working class British only had enough qualifications for. Now i won't vote ukip in the next European elections, but it will be an anti Ec party, because the working classes in this country have been deemed a side issue to big business in this country, that's a fact.
