Serious point re advantages of the 5pm Kick-off.

Surely more families will sit down and watch it at the slighter later time rather than writing the glorious afternoon off indoors.
Even if the mums are preparing dinner there is still an opportunity to watch bits of the game or hear husbands/kids enjoying it together.
Tradition sometimes gets in the way of common sense. I'll be watching today for the first time in ages because of the late KO time as I have a thousand things to do this afternoon.
