Imagine if your boss came into your office

Demoted you, moved you to a s**t industrial estate on the edge of town, gave you a pay cut and then half your mates left the firm.

Then you hear that a big firm in town is recruiting, interested in you and happy to pay what you earned before, possibly you could negotiate a pay rise and better benefits.
