of course.. I'm just not sure why they gave themselves a short deadline in public

as far as i'm aware, there wasn't massive pressure from the fans demanding a new manager be put in place as quickly as possible.

If they've already agreed terms with someone, and are just tying up loose ends now, then that of course would explain it.
